Get some dogs to run them off....

I have the kitchen staff at work save me food scraps, I bring them home & dump them at the edge of the woods for the critters. Never know what I might see out there eating. The crows are very smart, & I watched a red fox one evening, it ate for a while, then carried off a mouthful, covered it under some leaves in the woods, then did it 2 more times. I'm guessing it had babies somewhere nearby. I had to stop feeding them for a few weeks because I had skunks coming in (which wasn't very pleasant when it's still dark when I leave for work). The coons come in at dusk, I can be sitting about 10 feet from them, brave little bastards! I don't trust them though. Back home, when I was maybe 10, was mowing the back yard on a large riding mower at 4 in the afternoon & noticed a coon come out of the woods. It stood on it's hind legs, shook it's head, had foam flying from it's mouth, fell backwards, then got back up & was heading right at me several times. Ran to the house, mom called the neighbor, he came over & shot the damned thing, (we had no guns & dad wasn't home from work yet.) I even get flocks of turkeys out there eating, & a hawk now & then. Are all fun to watch from the kitchen window. Is cheap entertainment.

Well, at least all who responded were able to see them before they were "yanked".
